New York, September 2003 – Commercebank in Miami signs for BankTrade and ClientTrade. Commercebank signed an agreement for BankTrade and ClientTrade to be installed in Miami, Florida. The bank is planning to provide ASP services to Banco Mercantil Venezuela for BankTrade and ClientTrade via this single installation. Both solutions will be installed under a multi-bank configuration and ClientTrade will simultaneously be integrated to both banks’ portals with single sign-on to each.

New York, September 2003 – SMBC to implement BankTrade, ClientTrade and DocPrep. CSI-BankTrade announces that Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, subsidiary of the SMFG Financial Group and ranked as one of the top five banks in Japan, has selected BankTrade, ClientTrade and DocPrep to automate its trade finance operations in its Asian branches.

New York, August 2003 – Banco Popular Puerto Rico signs for ClientTrade. CSI–BankTrade announces an agreement with Banco Popular Puerto Rico to install and implement ClientTrade for the processing of Import Letters of Credit and Standbys. With ClientTrade the bank aims to be the first bank on the island-nation to offer trade services over the web.

New York, August, 2003 - EFG Bank-Greece signs for BankTrade and ClientTrade. CSI-BankTrade announces the recent decision by EFG Bank to implement both BankTrade and ClientTrade for all of its Greek operations. With this agreement EFG, Greece’s second largest bank, seeks to position itself as the leading Trade Services provider in the country. The bank is also looking to use this new technology as a platform to automate its trade finance operations in London and the Balkans.

New York, June, 2003 - Fortis Australia Goes Live with BankTrade. Fortis Australia has successfully completed its first live transaction with BankTrade creating a direct processing link with the bank’s operations in Singapore. Fortis Australia joins Westpac Banking Corporation as the second bank in Australia to use BankTrade.

New York, June 2003 - Banco Santander Santiago goes live with BankTrade. CSI-BankTrade announces that Banco Santander Santiago successfully went live with BankTrade. Following the merger of Banco Santander and Banco Santiago de Chile, Banco Santander Santiago is Chile’s largest bank. With the implementation of the following BankTrade modules: Letter of Credit, Standbys, Bond & Guarantees and Loans, Banco Santander Santiago has successfully merged its trade operations and stands to achieve significant increase in volumes and productivity while reducing overall processing costs.

New York June 2003 - Dexia Bank executes first live transactions with BankTrade. CSI-BankTrade is pleased to announce Dexia Bank’s first successful live transaction with BankTrade. The import letter of credit transaction, created on 26th May 2003, marks the Bank’s first step in using BankTrade to fully automate their back office procedures.

In addition to creating import letters of credit, Dexia Bank (formerly Artesia BC) will also use BankTrade going forward to process incoming & outgoing collections and guarantees. These processes will be carried out at Dexia Bank’s operations in both Brussels and Antwerp as part of an ongoing automation process.

New York June 2003 – CSI-BankTrade supports National Commercial Bank upgrade. CSI-BankTrade is pleased to announce its support of The Saudi Arabia National Commercial Bank’s recent change in IT strategy as they upgraded to Unix with Oracle database from Windows NT. Thanks to the inherent flexibility of CSI-BankTrade products, the bank was able to carry out the upgrade without the need to install a new trade finance application.

The smooth upgrade experienced by The National Commercial Bank is a tribute to both the flexibility of CSI-BankTrade’s web based trade finance tools and to the benefits offered by the company’s post-implementation support and maintenance policy.

New York, May 2003 - Banco de Costa Rica signs with CSI-BankTrade. With this agreement, signed on 5th May 2003, CSI-BankTrade is pleased to add Banco de Costa Rica to a growing list of more than 85 clients worldwide in 38 countries. Banco de Costa Rica is the country’s largest bank with over 100 branches, and with a history dating back to the middle of the 19th century, one of the oldest. New York, May, 2003 - ING Singapore Goes Live with BankTrade. CSI-BankTrade has successfully implemented its signature web-based back office solution, BankTrade, at ING Singapore. Following the company’s tradition of completing projects on or ahead of schedule, BankTrade went live in March 2003. ING Singapore is benefiting from enterprise-wide synergies by processing from the group’s IT hub in The Netherlands.

August, 2002 - Citizens Bank goes Live with BankTrade. Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, one of the east coast’s premier financial institutions, has now gone live with BankTrade.

August, 2002 - Banca Serfin Goes Live with ClientTrade. Banca Serfin in Mexico has gone live with ClientTrade. The bank launched a full marketing strategy for trade finance aiming to expand its market share, branding the initiative “Serfin Trade”.

July, 2002 - ING London is Live with BankTrade. ING London is now live with BankTrade as part their global implementation of the BankTrade solution. In a ceremony marking the event, the bank’s representative stated, “This is the first implementation of what will be the strategic platform for processing documentary trade business within ING Group and has been achieved within a very tight deadline”.
