1997/98
New trade initiatives emerge such as STP and Bolero. BankTrade and ClientTrade become Bolero enabled and certified.
1997

Internet continues to become a major business channel. ClientTrade is born as a web-banking version of Customer Bridge. (CSI’s PC based front-end solution developed in 1989)

BankTrade becomes the first Trade Finance system to achieve “Swift Ready Gold” status.

Banks begin exploring Enterprise-Wide Automation concepts. BankTrade’s Multibank/Multibranch functionality evolves into the Hub-Spoke-Sprocket model (including Multicountry), to run on one single installation and database.

1996
A CSI sister company is created to handle the increasing demand and evolution of Document Preparation for Trade Logistics. (DocPrep, ERP/PO Integration)
1995
Platform Independence is achieved. CSI now protects the bank’s investment & separates the IT and Business Strategies while providing vertical scalability. Platforms include: Windows NT, HP, Sun, & RS6000 and all platforms work with any relational database. (Oracle, MS/SQL, Informix, etc)
1985
CSI is one of the first providers of a corporate front-end TradeFinance solution linked to the back office. (DOS then Windows)
1978
CSI is incorporated and becomes the first provider of a back office system for Trade Finance. CSI becomes a pioneer in Trade Finance automation.
